Join us for 7-day spiritual retreat to Ireland.
You are invited to explore and deepen your own authentic spiritual journey by stepping away from the busy-ness of life, and stepping into a place of sanctuary and beauty. Your guide and anam cara, will be Nóirín Ni Riain, PhD, who calls the heart of Ireland her home. In Irish, the anam cara or ‘friend of the soul’, is someone who creates sacred space so that we might explore the fullness of who we are and who we are becoming … with love, awareness, and humor!
Nóirín has traversed many diverse paths during her life-time and lives out her life in great gratitude for the good of it all, despite ‘the hollow lands and hilly lands’ (William Butler Yeats). She is an interfaith minister and doctor of theology; she coined a ‘discipline of listening to the Divine’, which she calls ‘Theosony’. She is the author of several books, and is an internationally acclaimed Irish spiritual singer and is known as the High Priestess of Gregorian Chant. Nóirín has released sixteen albums since 1978, and her voice has rung out for peace on many continents, from United Nations conferences to gatherings with the Dalai Lama. Nóirín also has a most wonderful sense of humor!

Arriving on Eire, the Irish name for Ireland, named after Eiru the Goddess of the Land, known for her spiritual hospitality. This place that calls pilgrims to explore the exterior beauty of the Irish landscape and to listen for the interior voice of the soul.
Being in a circle of friendship; daily inspirational gatherings with our anam cara Nóirín. Nóirín will be our guide as we explore and experience the sacred landscape and sites in the heart of Ireland. You will be invited to join the great circle of belonging that is Ireland – so well known for her hospitality – as well as our own circle of belonging that we will create together in beloved community.
Coming into the natural rhythm of your body, mind and spirit. The invitation to open up your imagination, feel a sense of wonder, and discover the wisdom deep within your own heart. Finding rest, renewal, and replenishment for your spirit in this sacred place.
Your days infused with opportunities for “listening with the ear of your heart”. There will be time for journaling, meditation, long walks, visiting sacred sites, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of traditional Irish music, good food, and local pubs.
Our time together will be in Adare, County Limerick at the Dunraven Hotel beginning on September 17th, St. Hildegard’s Feast Day!
Please arrange your travel to arrive at Shannon Airport during the morning of September 17th, where we will provide transportation to the Dunraven Hotel. You will have time to settle in and acclimate (maybe a wee nap to help with jet lag) before we gather in the late afternoon to meet Nóirín in our opening circle and then on to dinner together. Departure day is September 24th when we will travel by coach back to Shannon Airport. Please make your flight arrangements for late morning or early afternoon.

All rates are on a per person basis. All accommodations are on a first come, first serve basis.
If you plan to register, Center for the Spiritual Journey requires a $1,000 per person deposit by cash, check, money order, or credit card (which carries an additional 3% fee for bank charges) by March 14, 2022. Your space will not be held until a deposit is received.
Because of circumstances regarding COVID which caused us to reschedule this pilgrimage, your deposit will be fully refundable until March 15 when we determine that there is sufficient participation. We will contact you to let you know that the trip is going forward and you can then begin making your flight plans.
After March 15, if you need to cancel due to circumstances beyond your control, Center for the Spiritual Journey will refund your deposit if a replacement for your spot can be found.
Remainder is due by May 15, 2022.
